Love is cosmic. RF celebrates the celestial power that blooms in each of us by draping each occasion in divine femininity. We offer a revelry of ruffles, lace and silk. At RF we understand that celebrating love is to celebrating our lives- and our wardrobes, like time capsules containing each look, the artifacts and heirlooms an archive of our stories. RF is Inspired by love stories, honoring by preparing ensembles for what is still unwritten.

Designed by Selkie and Wildfox founder, Kimberley Gordon, this is occasion wear from the female gaze. At once both delicately sweet and Seductive, these seraphic gowns come to life like rapturous covers of romantic novels;

"As a kid I became obsessed with gowns. It began with bridal magazines, especially the September issues. The scent of the perfumed fresh paper as it hit the table with a thud. The sheer weight of it in your lap. I sketched furiously gown after gown, 12 years old and enamored, not by weddings, but by women in princess attire. There is some elusive power in a gown! Around this time I began going to California garage sales with my dads girlfriend, scouring them together for vintage satin slips and antique wedding gowns, bringing them home for my trunk in their apartment. I spent days dancing and pretending, even sleeping, in those old treasures. It was at these same garage sales I became enamored with “trashy” romance novels. At first sucked in by the covers; paintings of women arched and heaving in their corsets toward the heavens, a horse between their legs in some silly paradise setting. Swishing swirling fonts laid out in embossed gold, and of course the kicker- giant and flowing historical gowns, skirts gathered up like bedsheets in their hands. It was a world entirely and unapologetically recognizing female pleasure. It shook me. This fascination came at a pivotal time, my own coming of age story and the start of my feminist journey.

• The branding is unique. Our protagonist has been searching for something that feels like an alternative to other basic offerings.

• The Gowns come in pieces; Now our bride can choose how her gown comes together. She selects her own look; first the slip, skirt and train, then the bodice, corset and sleeve. Each piece layers over the other with ease!

• She simply adds the pieces to cart, maybe even just the corset! It feels so much less risky than made to order.
  

It feels good because it fits… without the price tag, or much alteration

Each item is adjustable or cut on the bias, allowing for multiple body types to cinch or slip into their sizing. This allows for weight gain or weight loss, pregnancy, or letting loose after the rehearsal dinner. Tailoring expenses be-gone!
